REGINA – A string of robberies have kept police busy over the last couple of days.
The first one happened at a store near the Dewdney Avenue intersection with Elphinstone Street Thursday night.
Police said a suspect jumped on the counter and demanded cash and merchandise while holding a weapon.
Then, on Friday, at around 7:30 p.m., a business on the 900 block of Victoria Avenue was robbed.
Police believe the suspect was armed.
The latest robbery happened Saturday morning, just before 8 a.m. This time, a convenience store, also in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue, was hit up.
The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes, then fled on foot.
No one was injured in the incident.
The last suspect is described as an aboriginal man between the age of 20 and 25 with black hair. He stands 5’8” and was last seen wearing a grey sweater and jeans.
There is no word yet from police on whether these incidents are related.
