KAMSACK, Sask. – Mounties have issued a warning after a large amount of pharmaceuticals was stolen in eastern Saskatchewan. The theft happened on Jan. 16 in Kamsack.

Police say sometime between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., thieves made off with the drugs from a delivery van parked behind the Rexall Pharmacy.

Mounties say many of the missing items, which they have not named, could be very dangerous to ingest without the direction and supervision of a pharmacist.

No other details are being released at this time and the theft remains under investigation.
