“We’ve got lots of research showing there’s an increasing demand for an urban lifestyle,” says Jarrett Campbell, the development manager with Brookfield Residential.
“The development will be mixed-use,” adds Jaydan Tait, the company’s vice president of infill communities, “meaning there will be a variety of housing types with retail and commercial space, which is essential for creating an area where people can work, play and live.”

City councillor for the area, Scott McKeen, calls the project an attractive option for future residents.
“It holds great potential to create a dynamic, new community on the edge of downtown.”
The land sale was recently completed and work on the vision and design is underway. The Muttart project, including the name and start date for construction, will officially launch later this spring.
