WINNIPEG – The cold weather didn’t keep Winnipeggers from taking advantage of a longer skating surface at The Forks.
The trail has now been extended to Churchill Drive and is a total of 2.5 kilometers.

The Forks is hoping to make it even longer. Another extension is expected to open in the next few weeks.
