VANCOUVER – Lisa Batstone, the Surrey mother who has been charged with murder in the death of her child, has been found fit to stand trial, CKNW is reporting.
Lisa has been charged with the 2nd-degree murder of her eight-year-old daughter, Teagan Batstone. The little girl’s body was found in the trunk of a car in Surrey in December and Lisa was arrested shortly after.

At an assessment in December a court psychiatrist found her to be under severe emotional distress and unfit to stand trial, but she has now undergone another assessment. Her next court date is unknown at this time.
