Williams Lake RCMP are investigating after a body was found under the Rudy Johnson Bridge yesterday afternoon.
RCMP say a dead male was found on the ice under the bridge, but his identity isn’t yet known. They suspect foul play, and the North District Major Crime Unit has been called in to assist with the investigation.

Traffic over the bridge, located 20 kilometres north of Williams Lake, has been closed while crews analyze the scene, but it’s expected to open at 8 p.m. tonight.
