VANCOUVER – A two-month long toy drive in memory of a little boy who died of cancer wrapped up today in Burnaby.
Keian’s Holiday Wish Toy Drive started two years ago when five-year-old Keian Blundell learned he could leave the hospital in time for Christmas. He was so happy he collected 16 toys for those children who weren’t so lucky. Keian was made an honoury RCMP constable and last year the force helped him collect 300 toys.

Keian died in January but volunteers have taken up his cause.
“We’re just floored by the amount of generosity and the dedication to Keian’s wish just to make sure that all the children who are dealing with cancer and other illnesses at the hospital still have a bright and happy Christmas,” said Ryan Blundell, Keian’s father.
The final total for this year has not yet been released.
