LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have fired head coach Drake Berehowsky.
The 42-year-old Toronto native was in his second season with the club after taking over from Rich Preston in June 2013.

Under his watch the Hurricanes stumbled to a last place finish in 2013-14 with a 12-55-2-3 record. They again sit at the bottom of the Western Hockey League standings this season, winning just 6 of 29 games.
Berehowsky was the 12th head coach in Hurricanes history.
No immediate word was available on his replacement.
