EDMONTON – Grace Mahary isn’t just donning some of the most recognizable lingerie in the world for the famous runway show; she’s also carrying all of Canada on her shoulders.
Mahary – who hails from Edmonton, Alberta – is the only Canadian in the 2014 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
For the first time, the annual lingerie show was held in London, England. The event actually happened on Dec. 2, but it will be broadcast on TV on Dec. 9 to tens of millions of viewers.
Over 40 Victoria’s Secret Angels strutted down the shimmering catwalk at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, including 24-year-old Mahary.
“It’s unbelievable,” she said, adding she pinched herself “like, 18 times” Tuesday morning before the show.
Before her big break into modelling, Mahary followed in her two older brothers’ footsteps, playing basketball for Archbishop O’Leary High School in Edmonton before moving to Toronto.
Since the Victoria’s Secret show was in London this year, Mahary was asked about her British knowledge by ET Canada.

The Canadian model posted some photos from the event on her Instagram account.
