EDMONTON – Albertans can weigh-in on changes they think the province should make to improve road safety for drivers.
The province is conducting a survey asking Albertans to give their opinions on potential changes to the provincial Traffic Safety Act.
Those who participate in the survey will be asked to give their opinion on issues like the demerit point reduction program, the driver training system, and the road testing program.

The online survey will be open until Jan. 2.

The province says the number of fatalities on Alberta roads has dropped by 22 per cent since the original Traffic Safety Plan was launched in 2007.
