Two men had a lucky escape on Thursday as their car was swallowed by a sink hole in Jinjiang City in east China’s Fujian province.
Street surveillance footage shows a white sedan stopped in the middle of the road as its left front wheel ran into the sink hole, which appeared after a heavy truck passed the road half an hour earlier

The driver and a passenger got out immediately to check on their car, only to watch the road surface further collapse and swallow the entire car minutes later.
Local transport authorities said the sink hole was caused due to the collapse of sands beneath the road surface, and the road has been closed for repairs over the next few days.
