CALGARY- In case you were wondering why there was a tyrannosaurus rex hanging over Memorial Drive Sunday morning, a giant delivery was made at the Calgary Zoo!
Five animatronic dinosaurs were lifted into the zoo’s Prehistoric Park around 8:30 a.m.
A large crane was needed to lift the large cargo at Memorial Drive and the St. George’s Drive overpass.
The Prehistoric Park is expected to open to the public in March and proved to be quite the attraction for visitors the first time around several years ago.
