The six-episode series will debut on City and shomi (co-owned by Global News parent company Shaw Communications) in Canada and on Netflix in markets outside Canada. A year after its premiere, Between will also be available on Netflix Canada.
Between is set in a quarantined town where a mysterious disease has wiped out everybody over 21.
Ottawa-raised director Jon Cassar (24) will direct the first two episodes of the series, which is about to start filming in Southern Ontario.
