The body of a man has been found on the side of a forestry service road backing on to several homes near Squamish.
The grisly discovery was made just after 2 p.m. Sunday on the Mamquam Forest Service Road, about 1 km off Hwy. 99.

IHIT spokesperson Sgt. Jennifer Pound tweeted: “IHIT deployed to a file in Squamish. Won’t have an update until I get there but I’ll post to twitter when I have more information.”
Global News reporter Rumina Daya is on the scene. She says motorcross riders on the road are being turned around. There are also ten police cruisers on scene.
