TORONTO – An Australian diver witnessed a rare sight in the Spencer Gulf — two great white sharks battling it out — and captured the action on video.
Adam Malski recorded the moment a five-metre-long great white shark sunk its teeth into another half its size.

“The skipper and the dive master, they’d never seen anything like this before in a couple of decades,” Malski said. “It was an absolute unique experience for them as well and they were absolutely freaking out.”
The sharks were apparently fighting over bait that Malski and his crew used to lure the sharks closer to a submerged dive cage.
The fight was brief and the smaller shark managed to get away in one piece.
