VANCOUVER — There’s a log fire at Harrison Mills near Kilby Provincial Park in the Upper Fraser Valley.
Authorities say the fire is confined to a log sorting facility near Lougheed Highway.
Three fire departments are on scene, from Agassiz, North Fraser and Popkum.
According to officials, no structures are currently at risk. The Fraser Valley Regional District was notified of the fire at 11:30 a.m. this morning, but it is not known at exactly what time it started.
Witnesses in the area report heavy smoke and helicopters in the area.
