Nearly 100 fish die at Calgary Zoo after mechanical problems

CALGARY- The Calgary Zoo says about 85 tilapia fish have died, after an ozone sensor failed in the hippo pool.

The pool is located in the Savannah building in Destination Africa, and the pool control system was recently replaced following damage caused by the June 2013 flood.

Officials are now trying to determine why the system failure occurred.

There are still over 100 tilapia living alongside two hippos.
