TORONTO – A 50-year-old man charged with failing to stop at a red light and careless driving in the death of 7-year-old Georgia Walsh is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Walsh was killed at the intersection of Millwood and McRae Drive in July when she was struck by a car.
Following that tragedy, city council passed a law prohibiting motorists from turning right on a red.
However, Global News discovered some driver were still not obeying the ban a week after it was implemented.
