CALGARY – It’s a bird! It’s a plane! Actually, it’s Global Calgary Morning News co-host Amber Schinkel!

Amber was brave enough to take part in the Easter Seals’ 2014 Drop Zone on Friday.

During the event, participants rappel down the 30 storey Sun Life Tower in downtown Calgary in support of Albertans with disabilities and special needs.

Amber wore a brightly coloured Superwoman outfit as she scaled down the side of the building.

Funds raised during the Drop Zone will go toward recreational and residential programs in Alberta.

The fundraising goal for 2014 is $300,000.
