EDMONTON – As the city gets ready to host the World Triathlon Grand Final, some Edmontonians may have to change their daily routine to accommodate the competition.

Several major roadways in and around the river valley will be blocked off to traffic at various points from Friday, August 29 to Monday, September 1.

The greatest number of closures will happen on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Several roadways, including Groat Road, the High Level Bridge, Saskatchewan Drive and River Valley Road, will be closed much of the morning and afternoon.

Check out the city’s interactive road closure map to see exactly when and where roads will be shut down.

In addition to road closures, public swim hours and lane availability are being adjusted at three city pools.
