EDMONTON – The 33rd annual Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival concludes Sunday, but festival-goers will still have the chance to watch the most critically-acclaimed and popular productions.
The festival has announced six holdovers that people will be able to checkout between August 27 and 30.
The shows include three Edmonton productions: “McCrackin 2: The Whackining,” “Red Wine, French Toast, and The Best Sex You’ve Ever Had,” and “Propylene Glycol, Maltodextrin, Retinol Palmitate, and Other Words I Don’t Understand Like Love.”

“McCrackin 2: The Whackining” is based on a hit-man who tangos with a clandestine organization, executes an impossible heist, and find his missing son as he seeks redemption.
“Red Wine, French Toast, and The Best Sex You’ve Ever Had” is about six multifaceted performers who explore the concept of desire and disappointment in a comedic physical theatre show.
“Propylene Glycol, Maltodextrin, Retinol Palmitate, and Other Words I Don’t Understand Like Love” explores loss, loss of love, loss of illusions, and loss of inhibitions.
All three productions will take place at the Westbury Theatre in Old Strathcona.
