LABRADOR CITY, N.L. – The body of a 64-year-old man from western Labrador has been pulled from a remote lake after a boating accident Saturday night.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the man from Wabush was with two other people aboard a small boat that flipped on Shabogamo Lake.

The lake is about 19 kilometres east of Labrador City.
The two other people on the boat swam to shore, but the Wabush man disappeared.
Police and local firefighters were called in to search for him.
His identity is being withheld because his family has yet to be notified.
