TORONTO — The new single from “Gangnam Style” rapper Psy is getting lots of attention online — but not a lot of love.
“Just BAD. Maybe the worst song I’ve ever heard,” reads one comment on YouTube. “And GREAT message to send out to the youth of the World!”
Since being posted Sunday, the video for “Hangover” has been viewed more than 22 million times.
Psy teams up with Snoop Dogg for the song and the video shows the duo experimenting with various hangover cures.
Reaction on social media has been mostly negative.
At least one person noted that Psy’s videos seem to get millions of clicks, regardless of the quality or content.
The Korean superstar’s ubiquitous “Gangnam Style” video has been viewed more than 2 billion times — a new record — since being posted in the summer of 2012.
