Global ends season with 3 of Canada’s 5 most-watched series

TORONTO — Three of Canada’s five most-watched TV shows this past season are on Global.

BBM Canada data for the 2013-2014 season shows an audience of 2.56 million made NCIS the No. 2 show in the country.

Survivor attracted 2.28 million to take fourth spot, followed by NCIS: Los Angeles with 2.27 million.

Global also had last season’s second most-watched new series, The Blacklist.

Canada’s favourite show last season was The Big Bang Theory, which draws 3.55 million viewers, and the most-watched new series was Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Global will unveil its Fall 2014 schedule this week in Toronto.
