EDMONTON – From watches and rings, to bracelets and pendants, the Edmonton Police Service is looking to return hundreds of pieces of stolen jewellery to its rightful owners.
Over the course of a three-month alleged drug trafficking investigation at a Strathearn-area pub, the EPS seized hundreds of pieces of stolen jewellery.

“There’s a whole variety of stuff,” says EPS Spokesperson Scott Pattison. “Everything from First World War medals to expensive diamond rings from local jewellery stores, to chains… obviously very personal family heirlooms.”
Other unique pieces include a historic pocket watch, a gold chain with a pendant of the Virgin Mary, and a gold ring designed in the shape of a horse’s head.
Using its Pinterest page to showcase the items, the EPS hopes the jewellery can now be returned.

Potential owners of the jewellery will be required to present sufficient proof of ownership, either through a stolen property police report, pictures, or a receipt of purchase.
