EDMONTON – Police are searching for an Edmonton man they believe was involved in a fatal shooting in west Edmonton last weekend.
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has identified 24-year-old David Charles Sandaker as a suspect in the shooting death of 38-year-old Michael Alan Hill.
Around 4:15 p.m. Saturday, police were called to an apartment building in the area of 149 St. and 89 Ave.
Police say Hill was found dead inside an apartment suite. A male suspect was seen leaving the scene in a white vehicle.

Sandaker is now wanted on warrants for second-degree murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and two counts of breach of recognizance.
He is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5’9″ tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He has a thin to average build with hazel eyes and light brown hair. While the supplied picture shows Sandaker with long hair, police believe he may have since cut his hair short.
The suspect was last seen in north Edmonton. Police say Sandaker should be considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
The EPS continues to investigate, but says the shooting does not appear to be random. Police are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
