UPDATE: Missing Edmonton girl found

UPDATE (5:44 p.m.): Police say the missing 11-year-old girl has been located safe and sound.  Officers found her walking in the downtown area after receiving a call from a member of the public.

EDMONTON – Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in finding an Edmonton girl who has been missing since Tuesday night.

Victoria Jean Alook, 11, was reported missing to police by her grandmother on Tuesday.

It’s believed Alook’s last known whereabouts was in the area of 81 St. and 122 Ave.

Alook is described as an Aboriginal female, 4’6″ tall, weighing around 80 lbs., with brown eyes, and black hair past her shoulders.

She may be wearing a red hoodie, black jeans, beige sneakers, and a red baseball cap with skulls. She may also be carrying her iPad with her.

Police say there are no indications of foul play.

Police are asking anyone with information about Alook’s whereabouts to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
