UPDATE: SaskPower has tweeted power is back on to all areas:
SASKATOON – Some people in Saskatoon and surrounding areas might be waking up to flashing clocks on Thursday morning.
SaskPower has a planned power outage scheduled that morning between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. for a system improvement.
In Saskatoon, power will be out east of Idylwyld Drive and Louis Riel Trail and north of Circle Drive. River Heights, Lawson Heights, Marquis Industrial area and Wanuskewin Heritage Park will be affected.
Power will also be out in Martensville and Warman and rural areas east of Highway 12 to the South Saskatchewan River.
