WATCH: New trailer shows explosive action of ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’

TORONTO — Fans got a sneak peek at X-Men: Days of Future Past on Monday with the arrival of a new trailer for the made-in-Montreal film.

It teases the dystopian battle between humans and mutants and provides the first glimpse of the robotic Sentinels in action.

The trailer starts with the voice of Professor Charles Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart, asking: “Are we destined to destroy each other or can we change who we are and unite?”

Xavier warns the mutants of the risk of extinction and sends them back in time to end the war before it begins.
