Lorde, Outkast among acts coming to Montreal’s Osheaga festival

TORONTO — Lorde, Jack White and Arctic Monkeys are among the headliners at this summer’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal.

One of Canada’s biggest summer festivals, Osheaga takes place in Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 1 to 3.

Outkast will perform at Osheaga and then travel to Toronto to headline the first night of Drake’s OVO Fest on Aug. 3.

Other acts scheduled to hit the stage include Skrillex, The Replacements, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Foster the People, Modest Mouse and J. Cole.

Community star Donald Glover will bring his alter ego Childish Gambino to the fest.

Hometown act Sam Roberts Band, St. John’s group Hey Rosetta! and Toronto’s Serena Ryder and Kevin Drew are among the Canadian talent in the line-up.

Festival passes range from $250 to $950.

Out-of-town fans can take advantage of special accommodation offers at university residences in Montreal. VIA Rail is also running special Osheaga train cars from Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City.
