TORONTO — Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James, who has been in Vancouver during production of the movie adaptation of her bestselling novels, is set to meet her Canadian fans.

James is scheduled to appear at a book signing event at the Chapters on Robson Street on Feb. 16 at 2:00 p.m.

Her three books — Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed — have sold more than 90 million copies around the world.

Chapters said 300 wristbands will be distributed starting at 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 16 and the first 100 people to buy a hardcover copy of one of James’ books will receive priority access.

The author will sign up to three books per person — but will only personalize one with a first name. No memorabilia or other items will be signed.
