Air Canada Rouge hiring hundreds of flight attendants as it adds western base

MONTREAL – Air Canada Rouge says it’s hiring hundreds of flight attendants as it prepares to launch flights this spring out of Calgary and Vancouver.

The subsidiary of Air Canada  expects to nearly double its workforce to 650 by the end of the year and will be flying 16 aircraft by April.

Rouge says flight attendants for the new jobs must live within a 90-minute drive of Vancouver’s airport.
