The Edmonton Police Service is investigating the suspicious death of a man in south Edmonton.
Police responded at 5:13 a.m. Wednesday to an apartment complex near 82nd Avenue and 97th Street. Upon arrival, officers found a dead man inside a suite.
Investigators could be seen walking around the three-storey apartment building later on Wednesday morning.
The homicide section has since taken over the investigation and police said one person has been taken into custody.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about this death to come forward.
