Major vehicle collision closes Sask. highway throughout Wednesday

A highway south of Regina has been reopened after being closed for the majority of Wednesday after a vehicle collision.

According to the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline, there was a motor vehicle collision on Highway 39 near Rouleau, Sask. around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

All lanes were closed in both directions near Highway 714. The Saskatchewan Highway Hotline is warning motorists to be prepared to stop and to use alternative route.

Emergency crews were in the area throughout the day.

Reporters on scene could see multiple semi-trucks and vehicles involved in the crash.
