The goal is to make it easier to find frequently visited pages such as the province’s highway hotline, its jobs site and daycare information.

The old Saskatchewan government website at gov.sk.ca was created in 2006 before tablets and smart phones were commonly used.

The province says the website has since grown to more than 400,000 pages of content and its size and complexity make it hard to find information and services.

Both websites will operate until the transition of content and services is completed over the coming year.
