Winnipeg police were at the scene of a stabbing Thursday afternoon on Main Street between Logan Avenue and Henry Avenue.
Several police cruisers and police tape surrounded the Manwin Hotel.
Police confirmed one person was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses say they saw someone running out of the hotel, appearing to have been stabbed, before collapsing on the ground.
There is no word on any arrests.
