Everyone is welcome to come to the North Hamilton Community Health Centre on Monday, May 8th between 4:00PM-7:00PM and see the wonderful pieces TADA has created in the last few months. TADA is a group comprised of individuals living with mental health and chronic conditions. They will be selling the artwork they’ve created for their theme of “New Growth”. Come out and enjoy the show!

Fleurs de Villes, Canada’s premiere Floral Mannequin Series, arrives in Burlington from May 10-14, 2017 at Mapleview Centre, the final stop on the event’s inaugural cross-Canada tour. The unique, five-day exhibition is the first of its kind to combine fashion and flowers in Canada, blending fashion design and fresh florals with bespoke floral-dressed mannequins and a pop-up fresh flower market. Over a dozen top local Burlington florists, including Holland Park Flowers, Centro Garden and, Opening Night Flowers will be paired with leading brands to design stunning displays and bring them to life with flowers. Each floral-dressed mannequin is clothed in a one-of-a-kind design made up of hundreds of fresh blooms.

The Victims of Homicide Support Society of Edmonton is pleased to announce the 2017 Western Canadian Conference. This conference will bring together victims' families and allied professionals to explore the needs and issues of those in society who have been 'touched by murder'. Some of the session topics include hope and healing, vicarious trauma and psychological effects on children.

PLUS Art Fair is the first art fair in Canada to showcase the work of current MFA candidates and recent MFA alumni. PLUS AF provides a platform for emerging artists, curators, and educators--who will lead the arts and culture scene in the years to come--to exhibit and sell their work. As an annual event featuring all mediums of visual art, PLUS AF will become the destination for emerging art in Canada. For its much-anticipated first edition, PLUS AF will take place in Hamilton, Ontario’s historic Cotton Factory, an expansive industrial space surrounded by artist studios. From May 18-21, 2017, the fair will welcome a talented selection of current MFA candidates and recent alumni representing multiple Universities across Canada, and feature a VIP Preview and opening party, daily shuttle buses from Toronto to Hamilton, gallery walking tours, and curated talks with artists and cultural leaders.
