In the grandeur and elegance of musical performances in the Italian Baroque period (roughly 1600-1750), some of the most beautiful works were reserved for the Christmas, marked ‘fatto per la notte di Natale’ (‘made for Christmas Night’). Acclaimed conductor, early music specialist and Artistic Director Alexander Weimann leads members of Pacific Baroque Orchestra in a glorious Christmas concert of seasonal string works from this era, including works by Corelli, Torelli, Vivaldi, Manfredini, Valentini, Locatelli, and J.
