Film Screening & Talk
A frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. The screening will kick off with a brief talk from an expert relating to the film’s subject matter. Every ticket includes popcorn and after hours admission to the interpretive centre. There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
ABOUT FILMS AT THE FORT
This film is being screened at Fort Calgary’s Burnswest Theatre as the first installment of our Films at the Fort: Shot in Alberta event series. Each movie features familiar favourites shot in Alberta that offer a modern take on the western genre, and kicks off with a brief talk from an expert on topics relating to the film.
