Stocking Stuffers for Seniors returns to London Drugs this holiday season!
From November 12 until December 8 take part in this holiday donation program by purchasing a gift for a specific senior in your community.
The gifts must then be returned to the same store, and the staff will ensure the gifts are delivered to seniors in time for holiday celebrations. Shoppers are also encouraged to include a personalized card to add an extra dose of festive cheer for their recipient!
To support Stocking Stuffers for Seniors, visit the London Drugs location in your neighbourhood and take a tag from the Stocking Stuffers for Seniors Christmas Tree, with a senior’s gift wish. You can then purchase the item on the tag and bring it back to the same location. The gifts are then delivered to seniors ahead of the holidays.
Popular gifts for seniors include:
- Toiletries: no scent shampoo and conditioner, body wash, cream, toothpaste and toothbrush, make up and nail care
- Treats: small boxes of chocolates, candy, cookies, diabetic treats/gluten-free treats
- Jigsaw puzzles or large print puzzle books
- Blankets
- Gloves, mittens, scarf
- Slippers, socks, underwear
New for 2022: LDExtras and Carlton Cards
London Drugs has been supporting seniors over the holidays for around 20 years, but Stocking Stuffers for Seniors officially began in 2015. Now, in its seventh year, having helped over 60,000 seniors to date, London Drugs is evolving the program further. In a new partnership with Carlton Cards, customers will receive a free card for their senior, when purchasing a Carlton Card or Papyrus Card around the holidays.
Members of the London Drugs loyalty program, LDExtras will also receive a reward of 500 points when they return their gift to the store as a thank you for participating in the program.
