This hands-on course will give you the fundamentals of drawing as well as the tools to go further. We will cover the essential principles of light and dark, positive and negative space, measuring accurately, perspective, and good composition. Designed for beginners and more experienced artists alike, there will be plenty of room for personal expression as well as skill-building and developing your own style. In this online forum, you will be given the opportunity to ask questions and see techniques demonstrated. This class is taught by Cora Woolsey, who has received training in painting, drawing and illustrating, pottery, metalworking, and archaeological and scientific drawing. Cora has taught painting, drawing, and many other subjects related to art and fine craft. Wednesday Mornings at 10AM for 8 weeks. Class is an hour and a half in length each week.
