The Dance Centre presents an exciting world premiere from choreographer Ziyian Kwan, Rebel Grace. The work explores gentle transgressions as acts of resistance, empowerment and gratitude, and is created by Kwan in collaboration with dance artists Lisa Mariko Gelley, Andrea Nann, Justin Calvadores, Rianne Svelnis and Juolin Lee. These inimitable performers traverse the rhythm and rhyme of imagery, text and movement – in conversation with live music from multi-instrumentalist Roxanne Nesbitt and Taiko artist E. Kage.
