Victoria Baroque: Love, Music and Fantasy

The highly-accomplished Italian harpsichordist, Marco Vitale directs his Victoria Baroque debut in a programme of striking orchestral music from the 18th century Paris Opera. Dance and opera went hand-in-hand in the Baroque Era, and opera scores included an abundance of vibrant instrumental music that set the atmosphere for each act and accompanied the colourful dance scenes.
