Cloverdale Minor Hockey Association will be hosting the BC Hockey U18 Tier 1 Provincial Championship Tournament March 20-23 at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex in Surrey. It will involve 8 teams of approximately 200 players, aged 15 to 18 years old. This will be a high-profile event, as the highest-level BC Hockey Championships within Minor Hockey for the season, attended by the top players from all over BC and with scouts from the BCHL, WHL and AHL in attendance. The Provincials will be hosted in Cloverdale for the first time in 16 years and 2022 marks the first time since 2019 that the tournament will be held anywhere in BC due to Covid restrictions.
