5 weeks of classes. 3 hours per class | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Class Dates: January 29th, February 5th, February 12th, February 19th, February 26th | 2022 Drop in time available for students during the 5 week duration. Drop in times are dependent on studio hours. Limit of 6 students per session. Includes firing, studio glazes, coloured slips and use of tools. Clay to be purchased separately by students directly from the studio. Clay costs range anywhere from $20 – $40/bag depending on the clay body that you choose. Sold by the 25 pound bag. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing. How to prepare your clay, centre your clay on the wheel and how to create basic shapes like cylinders and bowls. You will also learn how to trim and glaze your pieces using various glazing and under glazing techniques including sgraffito and slip trailing. Throw as many pieces as your clay allows!
