The Parksville and District Rock and Gem Club is hosting its Third Annual Rock and Gem Show in Qualicum Beach on October 30 and 31 at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre. This is a family friendly event with something for everyone. There will be vendors selling a variety of jewelry, rock, and mineral specimens. There will be demonstrations of skills used in knapping, grinding and polishing stone and creating jewelry. There will be activities for children, a food concession and hourly draws. Our Special Guests will be from Below BC. This is another non-profit organization who helps to educate us all about “the earth beneath our feet”. All BC Public Heal Orders will be followed. Proof of vaccination card will be required for entry.
