The 11th Annual Rogers Insurance Run for L’Arche in-person event on Mar. 27, 2021, has been postponed.
However, the virtual event from Mar. 27 – Apr. 4, 2021, will go ahead as planned.
It welcomes all levels of participants in 1K, 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances.
For those who have been on the journey with us, or are new to our important fundraising event, Rogers Insurance helped found a mixed Run/Walk Event in 2011 in conjunction with Economical Insurance our “Presenting Sponsor” since inception and continues to coordinate and lead the Race, in one of the most popular early spring season events on the Calgary Running Calendar.
To date, you have helped raise $500,000 for L’Arche Calgary programs to support people with developmental disabilities.
Here in Calgary, L’Arche supports five homes, a Supported Independent Living Program, and a Tamarak Day Program. L’Arche Calgary creates a community with over 100 people, including 33 core members with disabilities.
L’Arche Calgary is partnered with 30 Homes across Canada, and is part of serving 153 Communities and 21 Community Programs, in 38 Countries on 5 Continents.
