School Orchards Africa invites you to their Zoom-in, online Fundraiser on November 28, 2020 at 6pm CT. The concert will feature the music of Jonesy & Simpson (Winnipeg) who will be performing a variety of music and songs from the Roaring 20s with a Vaudeville touch. This online fund-raising event is to support the good works of Schools Orchards Africa, admission is free, and there will be fundraising opportunities for Schools Orchards Africa during the show. All ages welcome. School Orchards Africa is a non-profit organisation that (among many other good things) helps children in Africa grow fruit trees that produce enough fruit to allow them a small income and the ability to further their education. The organisation has also installed wells and water tanks that have profoundly improved the lives of the students and their communities. The show occurs on zoom, Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 6:00pm Winnipeg Time. For more information and to get the Zoom Link, please email: Wayne and Maureen Loiselle at: sunrisegrail@gmail.com Free admission, all ages welcome. This show takes place virtually, online. About the performers: Jonesy and Simpson (Shauna Jones and Grant Simpson) are a musical team that has performed in shows from vaudeville, to burlesque, to supper clubs, house concerts and music festivals. They have performed across Canada on VIA Rail and in house concerts from Halifax to Whitehorse. The variety of music, songs, and fun these two bring to the digital stage is sure to have your toes tapping and faces smiling. Musical Saw, Ukulele, Stride and Ragtime Piano, Banjo, Guitar and songs of laughter, tears and nostalgia are all a part of the menu. Grant Simpson is a member of the Home Routes/Chemin Chez Nous team and has performed several times on Thetis Island raising funds for Schools Orchards Africa.
