Theatre: Just Like The Moon

Join the Drama Division at the School of Creative and Performing Arts for the MFA thesis production of Just Like The Moon, devised by Lizz Windnagel, the creative team and the ensemble. In relation to the current state of the world, the tale of a sad clown may be more relatable than ever. We might try to hide it, but we are all quite fragile and maybe a little sad. This hysterical clown production questions the limitations of our human quirks, bodies, thoughts and desires. Can we let go of the small picture, or is it still important? Can we still love when the world is falling apart before our eyes? For our main character, Pierrot, high highs and low lows are not limited to the year 2020. How do we protect ourselves from the truths that hang above our heads? Will our sense of humour prevail amidst the darkness of the universe?
