This 2 weeks intensive Permaculture Design Certification is held over the course of 14 days from August 8 to August 23, 2020 at our partnering farm L’Alpakiade in Wakefield (Quebec). Our 2 weeks intensive format is ideal for people who want to get fully immersed into the permaculture worldview! Students get the chance to live together on the land for which they’ll have to do the final design project. During this course students learn to read the landscape, analyze problems, and design ecological solutions for the home, garden, farm, and city. It’s a participatory and dynamic learning experience; classes include in-depth permaculture theory, design methodology, exercises, and group projects. Some of the hands-on components include creating different types of compost (thermophilic, vermicompost and Johnson-Su Bioreactor). They also include a whole lot of deep questioning, laughter, and growth!
